2008 was such a memorable year, from the ground-breaking election of Barack Obama to the release of Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii, that I felt it should end on an appropriately remarkable note.

With that in mind, I felt that this was the year to buck tradition and do something spectacular for Christmas.

So I decided to go with Kit (and family) to Quebec City in Canada - where it’s so cold the only thing to do is eat lavishly until you’re warm enough to brave the elements, and repeat.

It was awesome.
